Meet Pastor Heather Sugden

Pastor Heather Sugden is passionate about sharing God's love, building meaningful relationships, and helping people grow in their faith. She believes the church is a place where everyone is welcomed, encouraged, and invited to experience God's grace.

Before being called to Redeemer, Pastor Heather served Reformation Lutheran Church in Galloway while also working as a chaplain at AtlantiCare Mainland Hospital. Earlier in her ministry, she served in hospice chaplaincy and, through the ELCA's Global Mission program, taught high school English in Namibia.

Pastor Heather especially enjoys visiting those who are ill or homebound, leading Bible studies, encouraging faithful stewardship, and creating opportunities for people to connect through fellowship and community events. She is passionate about sharing the Good News of Jesus Christ both within the church and throughout the community.

Outside of ministry, Pastor Heather and her husband enjoy cheering on their two children in all their activities.
